I got the Eduard set from Sprue Brothers for $10.00 bucks...

I would assume I will be installing the LATE version of the belts, but I have to ask; Early or Late????
 
Hmmmm....

Was able to find these comparison shots of Gabreski.... Colorwise, it would seem the straps look a lighter color rather than an olive one....

Looking at the photos posted in the thread the seat belts do seem to be of the same tonal quality as the mae west which points to them being the earlier lighter type, as the later OD straps would be a similar tonality to the B2 jacket.
Would be nice to have a colour shot of them to confirm tho.
 
Looks early to me Dan.To think these guys look so young when they flew these crates meaning 20-25 yrs old and it being thier own personal hotrod courtesy of thre US government.Just looking at that color pic makes one realize how fast the men of that era by all sides had to grow up.Cheers
