As we were.. Got the cowling on and engine inserted. Currently filling the cowling in and then going to rescribe some of the lost lines. Got the stabilizers glued together and ready for attaching. I filled in the seam behind the pilots chair and repainted zinc chromate and it held true.

Next up will be the main wings and then some masking of the cockpit and off to the paint shop for a light prime surface / gap check. This kit is coming together extremely well and the gaps / steps has been minimal.

I got it a few years ago and it intimidated me at first. I've never had so much nice detail and I've managed to keep most of it thus far. A few rivets have been lost (don't tell the counters) but overall the seams are filled and I think it will be easy sailing for prepping it!

Wings attached. It's getting the look now. Man is this thing a beast, with its stout frame.

Hello all,

Update: The bird has landed in it's box and sits patiently waiting to see the light. Though fall saw no major modeling, I did have another satisfactory semester at college. On break now and will be nipping at the bench ndt may have some time to work on it.

Hope all of you enjoyed your respective holidays and enjoy a happy new year!!

Corey
