Despite my not so kind words for the FAA, there are some good ones within the organization and they do have some good programs available to mechanics and pilots. I am a FAAST (FAA Safety Team) team member and participate in some education and training programs they have. The people I deal with know about my full time job and some of the endeavors I do on the side. Well yesterday the wife and I attended the Denver FSDO awards banquet. I got a little award....

Maybe they got tired of you complaining all the time, and decided to try bribes.....

All kidding aside (well...most kidding, anyway), CONGRATS!!!!
