I haven't posted any shots in a while. Been kinda short on funds for gas and haven't been able to get out like I'd like to but I have been doing some work on a 60' Impala and finished it up today and sent it home. It is a 348 Tri-Power with a four speed. Very . I also got some shots of a couple of Model A Ford five windows over the weekend. Please enjoy.

I went out on the Creeper Trail this morning and was shooting some photos. I am working with the settings more and trying to get the shots to come out the way the setting looks to the eye. Sometimes it works.......sometimes it don't.

Nice pics Aaron, love your countryside.

Thank you Vic. It was a little overcast which really brings the green out.:)

Nice shots again, Aaron.
Maybe I have been influenced by you as I prefer taking nature shots more than ever recently:)

Thank you Shinpachi. I spent quite a while out by myself Sunday morning and it was very relaxing. I hope it is as enjoyable for you as it is for me.

Good shots Aaron!

Thank you Hugh.

Starting on catching up and I have to say mate, you've got some ace shots....love that last Moth...all that creeping around and stalking barns is obviosuly paying off as you didn't scare her off !...I see a shot like that and by the time I'm ready to go 'click', the little so and so's have fluttered off ! :thumbleft:

Great photos Aaron! It had to be hard to leave that place.

Thank you David. It wasn't to hard to leave, after four and a half hours of walking, climbing, and decending, my stomach was started yelling.

:thumbleft: You have way better nature to photograph than we do out here.

I'm count myself fortunate. This area has a LOT to offer.

And I got a new toy this week. I have been debating for a while on having my two lenses cleaned. Well, I found out I'd be better off to buy new ones because it would be cheaper. Well Best Buy sent my a notice about some of there camera equipment being on sale and seeing as how I was in need I took a look. The lens I have been lusting after was marked down $150.00 and and was available at the store in Bristol soooooooooo I ended up with the Canon EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM. Besides, it's interest free for 18 months. The shots of the birds are the first I have taken with it and I have some learning to do with it but wow.

Gary, if I'm not mistaken, I think the moth was dead, it never offered to move. I got five or six shots of it.

Well done! :thumbleft: You're going to love having the reach of 300mm. The 70-300 lenses (both Nikon and Canon) seem to be the best balance between reach and weight. Any bigger, they get heavier. I always feel like Quasimodo by the end of a full day with the 50-500. I love the reach, but hate the weight.
