I thought I'd share with you the beauty of my homeland with these few shots taken during my past weekend of camping and hiking. The setting is Banff National Park in Alberta Canada, a short 2 hour drive from my home. Enjoy!

Thanks Chris, Karl. I messed up the settings on my SLR, shooting on aperture mode instead of auto so some of the distant details turned out a tad blurry. Guess I'll just have to go back next weekend and take more! Kudos to my 15 year old daughter as some of these pics were done by her.
 
I know exactly what your talking about. Still excellent shots of some great scenery. Well captured. They don't look like a tourist shot them, they look like you took the time to make the best of it. Way to go sir.
 
Yes, it was quite spectacular. Now I just have to get my daughter to get the horizon straighter. She's becoming quite the photographer.
