Nice work, and those wing tabs sure are short!
BTW, in your avatar pic, you're the spitting image of a friend of mine, shown here as 'Herr Flick' at my birthday bash earlier this year.

Thanks Guys
Well I've been working overtime on this one! The light grey primers down and the the canopies are masked. The forward section is attached and both have had a coat of interior green. The telescopic site has been sprayed silver with a brown leather eye pad (I found an image of the said site and it does appear to have an eye pad). The undercarriage is now attached and masked ready to start painting the fuselage and wings. I need to take a deep breath at this point. Time permitting I may start on the yellow on the wings tomorrow.

Ah man,
I just noticed back in post #75 you missed the seam in the wheels......
I am growing to like these little F4F's. Can't wait to get stuck into mine........ smaller scale of course.

Nope, commited to the Aussie version. I have a yellow wing in store for next GB.
Vaughan, what aircraft is in that picture? Been bugging me all day!
Paul I'm not sure of the exact aircraft I can't find the site that it was on.
Anyway I have made a start on the wings some pre-shading first with a drop of brown added to the yellow followed up with straight yellow. I think it has given it a subtle effect. I've taken the yellow just under the leading edge and wing tips.
Next step will be to mask off the wings in readiness for the aluminium. Wish me luck as metallics aren't my strong point.
