Ahoy Fellas
Have not been here for a while Been to busy playing with my outdoor toys now its time to sit down and do something.. I elected to build the old Monogram B-17 Flying Fortress instead of the olive drab paint schedule it will be natural aluminum using kitchen foil.

The Build has begun


Okay fellas the build has just begun got lots to do on this one I will take my time on this build. Before I got started on the kit it hasent changed since it first released in 1975 you can see the flash is starting to take its toll on the moldings of the kit............years before this kit was flash free now its everywhere. But with a little trimming here and there everything is restored............. Starting out with the kit is its interior parts assembled in their sib assembly form. please note that there will be no after market parts for the build everything will be built straight out of the box................... I can make it work without the aftermarket parts done it before and I can fdo it again I never was keen on the new after market parts that are offered in kits today although they enhance the model greatly. Okay after all sub interior parts have been glued down I airbrushed on the zinc chromate green I will let this dry over night and give it a wash in the morning when everything has dried.................. Here is the beginning of the build pictures more will follow as the build proceeds.
