No idea as to their purpose Geo. They'd be in the vicinity of the boss for the gear strut but I would think that part would be attached to the something more substantial.

Thank you very much gentlemen. Not a lot to show. Started gluing the fuselage halves together bit by bit to minimize the seams. Also started to add brake lines.

Thanks kindly. Any one have any thoughts as to why Tamiya would do this(circled)? Yes, the fit is great but I see it as not necessary. This is just a press fit by the by.
