For this group build I will be building Spitfire MkIX MA466 of 451 sqn RAAF based at Poretta, Corsica. This aircraft was painted in the high altitude intercept scheme of medium sea grey over PRU blue with B type roundels.

I with be building this OOB and will be doing basics only (no seatbelts, canopy closed etc) as I want a fairly quick build with this one. I'll be using the Red Roo 451 sqn decal sheet and hopefully have a relatively straight forward build!

Pretty sure they're the same kit Karl, mine also contains an arrester hook for a seafire etc.

Moving right along I've attached the fuselage halves and completed the prop and spinner. Undercarriage legs and wheels are painted. Sitting the fuselage on top of the wings shows there will be gaps.
