better late than never....wasn't in the right frame of mind last night to get on the comp...had a tooth removed......

those crosses added and started on the main undercarriage, pinched the spoke wheels from another Hasegawa 'G' kit for this one, have sanded them down and using a fine saw sorted out the tread pattern. Also using the g-14 legs for this one as they were already prepped to go...

I'm liking it. Wayne, do you find your pastel work losing any visibility with the gloss coat?

No Andy, as i try to use only darker colours of greys, Browns, greens and Black, these applied to the matt paint surface. An initial light coat of gloss then further coats seems to do the trick.
light colours can and will disappear or disolve with the gloss coat application. light and dark colours can then be further added after the final flat coats as required or desired.

That looks great Wayne. What gauge wire are you using and what sort is it?

didn't actually take note Vic, I think it was a strand from some 1.5mm multi-strand copper wire.

Now...added the final gloss to the lower surfaces today and then later added the lower wing crosses.

Not going to add much if any further stencilling as most pics of the Brasov assembled and painted G-2a machines don't show too much that I can see..they appear to be completely repainted so I don't think they reapplied the general stencilling possibly only the primary stuff.
