Thanks guys. Been a while but the cockpit is basically done. Could have been better but with the dark canopy its all nearly invisible. Upper console is just posed. There needs to be three decals added to it and they will be totally invisible but I will add them

Off to P.G. in the morning for a bone scan. Not too thrilled about it and probably won't sleep tonight
 
Prepping the innards before the Jays game. I'm still on the band wagon though its careening downhill without brakes or steering and on fire. Some flash yet to be removed. I'm glad I didn't glue the nose well as it looks like on the instruction sheet; the pins are no where near the slots. I taped the fuselage halves together and the well slots in nicely

Note in the first photo that the fuselage windows, Parts 97 & 98 need to be inserted now. I'm going to test and see if I can make my own using clear glue and if it works, I'll remove it and then add them after I paint the camo
 
Need 'em, he'll need a D-9 tractor to hold it down.
We have a -6, an -8 and 13 -10s in camp so I guess I'm outta luck trying to get one through security. Last of the innards glued together and a pain in the keester it was. The tail hook needs to be fitted into two holes on either side of the tail hook well at the bottom without getting glue on it. At the same time the MAD boom needs to be mounted at the top, the holder is in halves on either side of the well and again no glue can touch the boom as it needs to slide to line it up once the fuselage halves go together. The tail hook actuator needs to be glued into a hole at the top of well but no glue can come in contact with the tail hook support (2). As shown at (1), I have removed the hook from the support, drilled holes in either piece and glued in some wire. This is because the hook needs to be painted with black & white stripes and doing so later will be a right pain in the.....you guessed it....keester.

Done for another week, camp bus in 3½ hours. When I get home I'll slap the fuselage halves together and I should go pretty fast after that. Rear landing gear is supposed to be very week so I'm going to see if I can build this gear up. I've seen an article where it was done but involved lots of mud and plastic strip. Have a good week gents
