Thanks fellas.......................
Today, the gear legs and tail wheel.
Gear legs are from the HB kit, so no issues.
GB58-28.jpg
Tail wheel is a different story,
check out the amount of or lack of
detail, left Ed, rt HB kit......... wow.
GB58-29.jpg
the opening for the tail wheel as well
Lft HB, rt Ed. so some mods are needed.
GB58-30.jpg
this is the HB kit tail wheel installation.
GB58-31.jpg
So I elongated the slot. Then three
posts had to be installed to match HB.
Most kits use a 1mm post for aligning.
So I used a hollow rod, drilled a recess
where needed, cut them to height, and
BAM............ easy!

Done.......... Now to the firewall mods.

Between roofing contractors giving estimates to cure little leaks during torrential rains,
I managed to get some more bench time in, gear legs, wheels and gear doors this time.
A bit of mods on all 3, er 6!
If you can see, HB kit wheels are lacking any real detail.
The Ed kit has ugly legs and doors. I thought Ed kits were
supposed to be a superior quality brand! DOH!!!!!!
So I am using HB legs/doors, Ed wheels/hubs.
GB58-33.jpg
The wheels, by popular Large Scale builders are too narrow.
Added .75mm disc, tightly rolled paper tube to align halves,
some licquid cement and "Bob's yer Uncle". Sand smooth, Bam.
GB58-34.jpg
Added a little punched disc to the hub for more detail..
Noted on the actual A-/C the tip on the door is a little taller.
Sooo................................. will be trimmed.
GB58-35.jpg
No idea what's next.................. a surprise all around.
