there is a small difference in the A5 and A1 tag.. wonder why no kits has these decals..they are on all german planes under the cockpit/pilot window on the outside fuselage cleary visible.. ( the A5 tag should be black also, just faded after all the years )

but hey..if you make some i want some also..hehe

Very smart work there Wayne.
Good info once again Mr.G., and those ID plates will make nice title name plates for display bases, suitably altered with the relevant Werke Nr etc.
E-mail the 1:1 dimensions, and the data required, and I'll make some 1/32nd scale and 1/48th scale decals - it's the least I can do for you after all your help, and the pieces of wood!

that is just what i did with my dio..with a newmade tag.. but those were exspensive..but i have heard of a company in belgium that will amke them cheap..are investigating into that
have yet to punch in the correct werknumber for this dio..need the right stampingtool with the correct font

the correct size is 10.7cm long and 3,7 high

some nice decals of those would be nice a must for all kits if you ask me..they are missing on all kits i hate that..why dont anybody take thsoe details into account..the details is what make a kit good..and that is also why i keep pushing our friend here..as his model is to god to miss these details

what was your emailaddress ..got so many mails here so i keep mix up..uhu

and about the main data tags..always three there are..one inside the cockpit..one outside the cockpit and one in the tail..
that also accounts for 109..190`s and so on ..

Thanks for the dimensions Guttorm. I'll make up a batch of plates in 1/32nd scale and 1/48th scale, for Ju88 and Bf109, and send some to you and to Wayne and Jan. I doubt the wording will be legible in the details boxes of course, but we'll see. The rest of the 'plate' should look OK though. I'll PM my e-mail address.

that my friend is how it should look strange how some small details changes a part completely ..compare to the same part before you added those details

now just get on a red fire exstighuser and its all perfect..i will get a picture of the fire exstighuser here later on today if you need one to look at

Thanks for the assist Guttorm.....and yes a pic of the extinguisher would be good, thanks.

Now, if you don't put that '88 out in the competition, I'll come down under and b*tch slap you to a New....Brrriii....Caaaa....Frreeen.....different religion! That's a sure Gold Medal winner and a show stopper!

D*mn you Wayne! I've given up on my 1/32 '88 before I even started the blasted thing...!

here is the fire exstighuser for the cockpit.. its only missing the small tupe that goes from the bottleneck ( just a plain small tube with a small opening )
