Harry, Harry....I don't know what I can say. Again we have to correct something instead of painting.

Look at the pic below. Two different ways of the mask sticking. The bottom part of the pic shows almost correct masked area. But I wouild like to make a focus on the red lines I marked in that. Fiest of all the strip doesn'r have to be so long.It is enough if it can start from the red lines marked near the leading edge. Also I told you that the blue tape is a little thick so you have to press the yellow one slighty down like the red bended line shows.
In the top part of the pic there is a horror. The strip is too long as well and should have started from the red line. Not pressed as well. What is more the strip is going up towards the jaws masking. But should have been down like the one on the bottom part.I suggest you have to unstick the strip cut a new on and stick it at the same position like the one in bottom part. You have to start unsticking from the front but not with the ending under the wing. You don't want to unstick the jaws masking right?

And now show my the rear sides of the fuselage with the masking tape on it.

What's the problem though? As long as I have it masked it can't hurt?

Harry these tape stripes are stuck iccorectly. Look at the P-40 colour proflile. There is seen a straight line for the blue colour as its borderline..You painted the areas of the fuselage a little bit higher but it doesn't mean you have to mask all the blue paint. The idea of masking is that you have to protect these areas you need to be left in the colour only. The rest can be overpainted with another one.

And correction to the air intake below.

We criss-crossed. Harry the first one is OK. The second one still not. Look at the first one (the first pic) The jaws corner is more above the yellow tape, Is that difficult for you to re-stick the wrong stuck piece of the tape and set it at the right position?

:lol:Picasso and I in the same sentence??????? I'm honoured!

So I'll paint individual camo? Or all Matt Mid Stone and then add Brown?>

Take a ruler and measure the distance from the corner of the jaws to the tape edge on the correct side. Then set the same on the another side where you can't do it .

Harry I have 25 minutes to left. Then I have to go bed. We wasted an hour for the easy corrections. It would be better if you could concentrate on corrections than on asking about camo type.
