A little bit incorrect with these camo spots but she looks good.You have to make the brown spot on the starboard wing tip larger.Look at the top view profile.Also there is something wrong with the spots on the starboard stabilizer, fin side and fuselage area.

Harry that's way there are these colourful profiles.When you painting you have to be looking at the profile . Of course from time to time in order to check if you paint spots of the correct shapes.Also these penciled borderlines are for the purpose.
You have said you hated making of these tape masks.But just these help a shuch beginners like you to keep the correct shape of camo spots.Painting with them is really easy thing although masking can take more time than painting.

I just repainted the whole... thing.. I don't know what I am doing wrong but never again with humbrol. When this is done I am smashing the tin with a Hammer than burying it...lol...

Harrison, if the same color is drying darker in places my guess is that you aren't mixing the paint thoroughly before painting and/or you are putting your paint on too thick. Hang in there. Brush painting is an art (and my hat's off to Wojtek and the guys who can pull it off!) so don't get discouraged.

I repainted Mid Stone.
I liked the first coat I did, nice and even. Then something was incorrect and I went to repaint.
I just want to finish it and forget about this painting and leave as is...

Not at all for the first model. In the pic below the areas of the Mid Stone looks quite good and could be left.
The only things you had to do was to paint with the brown at these red marked areas ( the second pic) .Again being in rush and made a hasty decision, you have got the effect like it is.
