You have gotten the diagram very well Harrison.The joint looks very good.But could you sand it a little bit down more?
 
There isn't a step, it's the way the wing is constructed that theres a gap. Pic 2 shows what I sanded it with...

Harrison... Well done. You will have to do it to the another joint on the other side. But you have to fix the joint with CA glue firstly.
