I learned that from 'Junior' Police Academy over the summer, god I love that program, I think I'll most likely be taking after my dad, as a police officer.
I can see that there all is fine with the flap. One thing only, there is a small clod of putty ( probably ) that can prevent closing the flap. It can be seen at the trailing edge close to your righ finger in the pic above.
