Could I use the opposite end of a Jewlers stick? In the PM what I meant was, do I need to buy anything like Humbrol Clearfix? Because if I need something now is the time, I can't go back for a while just because of the distance.

I see. You can buy the Clearfix.It always can came in handy.Also purchase sandpaper of a few different grades.If there will be a sheet of clear decal it would be great.

I used my nail and fingers and it feels fine to me!

OK. Now you need a pencil and two thin strips of the masking tape.Wrap one of these strips onto the pencil end with its adhesive outside.Use the second one to stick the first one to the pencil wrapping it around the ending like you can see in these pics below.Stick the first strip to the pancil ending tight.
