I have to go... It doesn't tighten, nothing does, it just stays the same.

I'll try to figure out this stupid pin vice later.

Many thanks Wojtek! Have a great day at work tomorrow. :D

Here you are the first way of drilling a such hole in a wing. Keep the wing with your left hand ( fingers from top and bottom) of course you can ground the wing on someting as well to make it standing stable.
holding the pin vice as shown press it slightly vertically and rotate right.

I have to go... It doesn't tighten, nothing does, it just stays the same.

Make sure you have the piece you removed properly put back on so it's not at an angle. Do NOT force it or under ANY circumstance use another wrench or pliers to tighten it as you can cross-thread it. If it does NOT twist easily at first, take it off and try again. You should be able to thread the piece you removed by hand with only a little bit of pressure. If you can't get it back on or tightened, ask your dad for some help. :)

The second way it to keep the pin vice like here in the pic. one ending is based into your hand , pressing slightly down and rotating with your fingers right.

And the third one that is my favourite. The wing is kept horizontally ( fingers from the wing top and bottom). I hold the pin vice with my fingers rotating right and pushing slightly forward.

Harry here you are something about a Pin vice.

1. the front view of the tool without a drill when the cap is tightened.
2. the front view of the tool when the cap is unscrewed a little bit.
3/4. the drill bit put into the tool and tightened.

Your problem can be caused by the "jaws". Actually these could be set for a few diameters only.So it means that these should work from 0 diameter ( the cap tightened fully) and to maximal diameter for the tool ( the cap unscrewed almost totally.Sometimes these "jaws" can't be squeezed fully. It can be for some reasons. The "jaws" are old and used, the cap can't be ( or isn't ) tightened fully, the "jaws" are for thicker drill bits.In many cases these "jaws" can be replaced as these are available with the tool set. If not , drills with thicker holding ends have to be used.

5/6. Maximal diameter for my Pin vice drills is 1.5mm

BTW....the cap is tightened right but unscrewed left with one hand holding the tool body with the second one.

Yep looking very good.:)

Now sane these leading edges of the wing. Have a look at the leading edge of the Spitfire wing. You have do it similar to that. If there are any gaps , use some CA Superglue as a putty.Apply iy with a needle. Then when hardened sand these edges. Of course omit with the glue these holes for MG barrels.
