Tomorrow, I'll be on for about 2 hours then I must go to a baseball game and the town is 1 and a half hours away...

Wojtek. I re-did these. I think they look good.

I did the strips a different way. I drew a straight line and held the ruler down and ran the knife along the ruler for a straight cut. Worked for me.

Although there should have been seven thin stripes on these disks both of them look very good Harry. But it seems that the right is of different diameter.Am I correct or it is the pic and perspective fault?

Because earlier Wojtek said the right one looks fine and it had 3 strips so I did the same to the other side......... Just following directions.
