That makes alot of sense on your pre-shade Jelmer.When I have done 109 I have gone as far base color.shade lines and base color again(undersides) but I like the idea of using the darker green for the panel lines(same shade just darker) :thumbright: Now you have taught me what is possibily wrong with the washes to strong of a thinner Thanks ;)

Some more - albeit minor - progress to report in my Spit. Continued to refine the weathering a few touch ups here and there and some chipped of paint, particularly on the wing roots and wing fillets and a handful of access hatches and such. Also started with putting in place some smaller bits and pieces...in particular the windscreen and rear section of the canopy.

So, here's a few pics of the end result. Overall pretty darn happy with the result. Wonderful kit of a wonderful aircraft that inspires to try and out-do yourself in terms of making a good model out of it. Let alone a few minor things I noticed after I took this final set of pic's that wraps this one up.
