Being playing around with Photoshop these last couple of days (no internet in my flat yet so it passes the time when I should be working) and have edited some of my photos from the trips I did over the early part of this year (haven't yet done Leuchars). Hope to have them up within the next fortnight or so (also have a couple of revised versions of my Concordes sig).

Bit later than I said but here are some of the edited pics...

Both edited and unedited pics (for comparison can be found here: Sossusvlei and Deadvlei - a set on Flickr

Here is one from St Andrews as well - sunset over the abbey.

Good stuff mate! I particularly like that last one of the Vulcan at Leuchars, the weather, for a change, helped create a really good, moody and powerful image. That one could sell well!
Terry.

Right here is some of my recent shots (some of which have been seen here before). All natural light  no flash

First up 3 shots of St Andrews Abbey - slightly different angles on each of them. Slightly touched up in Photoshop.

First 2 are 1/60 ISO400 F/9.0. Third one is 1/20 ISO400 F/9.0. Focal length varies between 27 and 31mm for the 3 shots.

Next up in one of the pier here in St Andrews again slightly touched up in Photoshop but not much (mainly cropping out the sewage disposal pipe).

ISO100 1/50 F/9.0 55mm

Final shot is a chimney smoking with a sunset in the background. Sunset was rather flat this night so it has been 'improved' in Photoshop.

ISO100 1/160 F/9.0 250mm

Terry knows about these next 2 shots.

This is the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews Clubhouse. Both shots are natural light and have been cropped in Photoshop with a little touching up of the sky but not the building itself. Both are ISO1600 1/4 F/9.0 and 74/79mm.

Here is two of a sunrise I shot on Friday (was walking to my last exam but had a fair amount of time so I took a detour - I think it was worth it :) )

First one is 1/20 F9.0 ISO400 24mm and the second is 1/25 F9.0 ISO400 30mm

Both haven't been edited except for some removal of lights from the Caravan Park on the hill (a real blot on the landscape).

Some more recent shots from around home (Royal Deeside) and from Loch Tay.

First up two pictures which have made black and white (colour ones also attached for comparison). Both are taken on a nearby hill, first shot is the Cairn on the top (1/80, F9, ISO100) and the second is of the sign at the bottom (1/13, F9, ISO200).

Next ones are from Loch Tay. First is of a typical stone age Scottish house (1/60, F9, ISO100) and the second is of the town at the end of the Loch, Kenmore (1/100, F13, ISO100).

Thought I would update this with some recent pictures. The first few have already been posted in the "Winter Pics" thread but I thought I would repost them here. The rest can be seen here: Winter (2008/9) - a set on Flickr and more for pics from the winter here: Christmas/New Year 2008/9 - a set on Flickr
