G'day guys, after my false start to the MTO group build I needed something to revitalise my interest in model building. I was going to come in on the heavy hittesr build with a stuka, but I couldn't get motivated enough, so I pulled out the Hasegawa P-40E to get me back on track. This bird will be finished as a rather colourful RAAF OTU crate, which should look good with the rest of my RAAF collection.
Anyway here is the finished cockpit, dodgy tamiya tape seatbelts and all!
Sorry for the late reply Terry, I'll be going with a Tamiya TS-83 spray can mainly because I have it left over from my Spitfire build. The results aren't that bad either. As for my latest update, I have installed the cockpit in the fuselage halves and made some progress on the wings. Prop is painted and the yellow paint on the spinner is really giving me the sh*ts! Hands up if you hate using yellow (and white for that matter) paint??
