Finished up the landing gear parts tonight. I'm not completely happy with the way the paint dried on the wheel hubs. It's hard to see in this pic but the hubs are a darker shade of black. Hopefully a cote of Dull Cote will make it look a bit smoother. If not I'll re-paint it

I put the landing gear on last night and sprayed it with Dull Cote today and it seemed to make the wheels look better. The gear is very delicate, and right after I took these pictures I bumped it and completely broke off the left gear leg and flattened the right one. Fortunately nothing was really broken so everything has been glued back on.
All that's left is the prop and spinner so the next pics I post should be the finished ones.

Well, it's all finished, and I'm happy with the way it turned out, I did have my doubts several times during the build. I'm also happy with the new way I did the NMF with Future and finishing with Dull Cote. The carrier film on the decals was always a problem with my previous NMF builds and this method worked wonderfully making it disappear. Although it did cut down on the shine of the silver, I think the trade-off was worth it.
