Hey guys.....here is the next step of the SM79....must say I am very happy for I finished the "Rumanian Markings" for this plane. I will be printing them on decal paper this weekend and show them next week...Question??? Does anyone have photos or plans of the Piaggio-50?...this was a very strange airplane which served as experimental platform for the four engine Piaggio P.108 B. I only have some pictures from which I plan to start out the plans for the model, but if I can get more pictures the better. I will show you guys how to make "plans from photos" by "interpolation" of points and some math. I have done three models like this and even if they are not exact replicas they sure look nice-----
All present parts....
Partly done left landing gear with small pieces of bamboo. The Doors and Air scoop are made from pieces of cardboard soaked in fast drying cement which makes them "hard as rocks"
I goofed on the front of the right engine.....mistakes in wood are easily solved by just adding some bits and sanding again to shape.
so now on to finish the wings all together and stick them to the fuselage....then the Bombardier´s cabin and the pilots.....just awfull Fun!!!!!!
