IPMS GB 1/72 Airfix P-51 OOB

Step 2 and 3 of the gear legs.
Out of the box, no wires could be used remember, stretched sprue for the hoses.
I'll attach the endds when I install the legs.

Working on IP now. The center section from Flattened sprue, cut up decal into twp pieces.
Will finish and post later today.

Cockpit done, ready to button up.
Then seams, and paint.
Two weeks left on this one, then my shoulder to get done. Tough sleeping with it.

I failed to mention I heated a bit of large diameter sprue with a cig lighter, only good use for one, then squashed it with a piece of metal to make a big flat thin section.

Yeah, that's it.
I needed a piece of thin flat............... then it hit me.
Heated the sprue till it went saggy, then squashed it with a piece of flat metal.
Instant flat sheet, Out Of the Box!

Fusey halves are together, just filling gaps, filing in panel lines that have disapeared, general clean-up.
