Hi everyone, we went to the San Diego Zoo yesterday. Had a great time and I took my camera, took over 230 shots. I hope you enjoy them, well not all 230. Any improvements that can be made let me know. Some of these shots were taken through over one inch thick Plexiglas.

Great shots ontos, did you have to take the pics of the birds (the first three) through the wire? Being a flower man, love the frangipani, love the perfume as well.

Thanks Vic, unfortunately I did have to take them through a wire cage I had to play with the Manuel focus and settings to at least get a decent picture. Allot of the Avery's had thicker wire and could not get a good shot. I was satisfied with the shots of the Tiger and Gorilla, considering how messed up the Plexiglas was, kids smudges and scratches all over it

Considering your handicaps, the photos came out really well!
Wire screen/fencing can be difficult, and so can plexigalss...especially in there's light hitting it.
It's hard to pick a fav here, but since I'm partial to the Secretary Bird, I'll go with those two!

Yeah, Aaron, those Tiger shots really came out well. I'm liking that third Tiger shot the best of the three.

Thanks guys, This was the first time we had been to the San Diego zoo and it was really fantastic. I wish we had more time to take pictures but it closed at five. Got to go back. Eric I used the canon 18-200 lens and I really liked it, took some good shots. 8)

Thanks Aaron, actually I didn't take the shot. My wife received it in an e-mail from a friend of hers and gave it to me. I thought it was kind of funny too.
