Benevolens Magister
I've finally got it finished.
A small amount of extra vegetation has been added to the base, in the form of long grass 'clumps' and weeds, and the 'set dressing' has been collected, assembled and painted.
These include the bomb-loading trolley, and two un-fused bombs, ready for the next mission, lying on logs, plus a damaged wheel and tyre, without its wheel cover, with a jack, jack handle and hammer, lying against, and on, some wooden cases, with a can of axle grease and a jerry can.
The two figures had some slight improvements made, and a little re-touching, and a suitable decal was added to the fire extinguisher.
The first few pics show the base and 'set dressing', whilst the remainder show the complete diorama, with the Crew Chief signalling the pilot 'Clear to Start', and the Assistant Crew Chief standing by with the fire extinguisher.
I'm intending to take some 'proper' pictures with the Nikon DSLR, once I get back from Elvington later this week, so I'll post these in a separate thread.
Thanks once again for all your support, encouragement and compliments during the course of this project which, although it didn't turn out perfect, due to the paint and clear coat problems, looks acceptable enough to the naked eye.
