You bet George, to see how I get at the end, I'm doing the dampers not incudes the kit and conditioning the hole so they are best .... after all the complications that I gotten myself into, I think will pay off. (QUE ASÍ SEA!!! :pale: ) (So be it !!)

Well, continuing with this of complications ... replenish and improve the brackets that hold the bombs.

After a few failed attempts with styrene in different ways, I decided to try it with brass branches.

To adjust the wing support should reduce the width of the piece of 1.5mm (yellow marks) to about 1.2mm. (Green marks)

... Was very interesting to use a mini-drill bit and try to center the hole in such a small space . I must say that tungsten drill I used for this (the one in the first photo of this post) made really easy work. At first I tried a bit of the same caliber, but "normal steel" ... and I struggled to make a new piece; very difficult to penetrate the brass.

In a safe place so I will leave these small pieces so they do not hurt or lose, as they will be one of the last details at the end.

I will no longer have to adjust the correct diagonal position of the machine guns ; so at least I will improve the appearance of the panels around 4 machine guns.

(the Hasegawa Trytool, I have been of great help) ... I've taken some time to do my best in such reduced spaces !!

...so in this third attempt I will work on detailing a focus of mobile phone ... I liked what I have in mind (although I will realize until I finished !!) ...:onlyamother:

... doing several tests, the last picture shows the right size to fit into the hole. :!:  :-k

In the top of the board of the cabin I cut for detailing I added the inner window, I painted the light gun and put cold to see the setting in place. ( I think my Spanglish not sound very well... )

... and proceeded to paint the window on a clear olive tone slightly with yellow to give the closest to the photos that I have as a reference tone.

Back in a while ...

It is time to take the cockpits (includes two pieces) and certify the adjustment to the fuselage and cabin .... and what I assumed at first glance, the clear parts are very thick !! ... (if correct English translation of "cockpits", the windshield)

2015-03-052017.03.36_zpsfwr4o7e0.jpg

Open cockpit with the workpiece is too thick at the ends of back ...

2015-03-052018.32.10_zpshmymy0fn.jpg

2015-03-052018.33.32_zpsq8wnh9tw.jpg

I thought making my first 1/48 with closed cockpit, but still stands the thick of the piece. !!

2015-03-052018.26.49_zpswtory0lt.jpg

2015-03-052018.30.24_zps7ksokjpl.jpg

And to make it interesting ... the cockpit front piece (windshield), is clogged with the top of the cockpit window inside ...

... And I no longer see the exit to finish my Razor !! ... I was then a little voice inside me told me ... think, imagine it and do it carefully ...

So I keep practicing my skills now to thin transparent parts.

I use my Dremel with fine emery and work on the inside of the windshield to adjust the window. And the same to reduce the rear

Down to work and leave you with this picture ...

Hasta el próximo avance!!

Nicely done Luis.
Also, in addition to dipping the clear parts in 'Future', scratches and blemishes can be polished-out by using 'T-Cut' (or the U.S./Mexican equivalent), which is a car body colour restorer, very similar to metal polish (which also works, but can cause the parts to become brittle).
Use a cotton bud to apply the polish, then a soft cloth to polish vigorously, until the plastic is clear - then a dip in 'Future' will make it really shine.

Thank you very much for your valuable advice Andy and Terry, I learn a lot and enjoy every intervention, I thank them very much.

Slimming both pieces I used the emery, and in the case of the larger piece, carefully applied a pair of thin limes to reduce as much as possible the area.

I read about the T-Cut and here in Mexico find it, however I have not bought it. I'm sure will be part of my inventory of tools and accessories for my modeling shortly.
So far I've helped with a set of 5 fine sandpaper I started sanding and polishing (3600, 4000, 6000, 8000 and 12000), with which I achieved the finished glass. And after rigorous dip in "Future".

I regret to tell you that I have problems with my camera phone . Today I went to Samsung service and I need to let them the phone about 5 hours, and I just have that time until next Monday. #-o

In fact I have already transparent parts masked to start to paint, but since I could not take photos.

I'm about to give it a good washing the plane and I'll try to follow the recommendation for the first time applying the primer using 50% Mr. Surfacer 1200 and 50% isopropyl alcohol in very light coats.

I hope soon to recover the camera and continue sharing pictures of this "very detailed" process !!! :confused5:

Again "MUCHAS GRACIAS" for their views, comments and contributions.

Keep in touch
Seguimos en contacto
