How are you dear colleagues in plastic  , it came to an end a beautiful season, and I could not move forward as I wanted with my Razor.

After the quality and quantity of information and great pictures provided, I've really worked hard to improve my skills and thus get a better level of detail . (something I enjoy a lot ... although the eyes are claiming me 8) !!, lol)

Start with the cab, two-tone belt made of white tape and Tamiya. Adjusters straps made them taking only two squares mosquito netting and buckles made of wire.
In the pictures does not look much, but I liked the tone of the seat and burnout that I did with dry brush with aluminum.
The colors used in levers and instruments are Humbrol enamels and Testors.
Some dry brush sides and floor then finally apply a wash of oils in general.

Apparently not much progress, but the hours I dedicated to her, have left to me somewhat satisfied and with a lot pleased to share the photos. :p

I have yet to paint color leather the basis of the joystick and finally apply a light coat of matte varnish.

In the engine I used copper wire and some pieces I elaborated some with small pieces of circuit boards and styrene to the upper and lower engine details (do not know the names of these parts) and a piece of mesh to simulate a filter in the air intake.

I applied a wash with oils and I have pending give it a pass with matte varnish.

Referring to the gear leg I tried as much detail as suggested by Terry and Andy (thanks again for such a wonderful contribution to this bench).
Are still not fixed the legs at the doors (so I still have to put two rods in each leg that hold the door for the middle part. I hope your kind comments.

Thank you very much for your compliments my friends.

This Razor is very slow. Also I do not have the time I really want... I hope your understanding , but are inspiring all your works and in my taste for details I get myself into several new adventures for me in this old kit, which I have tried several enhancements, but I think I'm coming out forward. :-k

I am not accustomed to spend so much time in an aircraft (and less to have 2 simultaneous projects - although my Nakajima I got arrested in what I see as possibly manage to welding the new stairway that I want to make -)
But like all growth in the hobby, each once entertain me longer to improvise enhancements and details :idea1: .... you are to blame ... guys do wonderful works and the help and support with their advice, just invite me to improve this and enjoy increasingly modeling.

I'm running to reduce the size of the most recent photos and share them.

Thanks again for joining with their views and comments.

Pronto subo las fotos!!

Here is the piece with the transparent part that goes between the windshield and the gunsight. (I'll see how to improve it)

In a first attempt I cut the piece to simulate the glass of a thin sheet of acetate.

2015-01-17193730_zps00d74591.jpg

... I removed the glass of the original piece and made a slot where the new crystal rest ...

This would be the first attempt,,,, I did not like as was the crystal form size ... and really was very complicated to try to stick to their base.

2015-01-18113305_zpsd0080906.jpg

... based on these photos, I gave the task of making the three piece ... by then he had strayed inadvertently the newly placed glass.

Thanks for stopping by friends Dave Terry

By the way Terry, what is your opinion regarding my landing gear.
Much appreciate your support and Andy's

I am a lover of feedback and you who have the experience. :read2:

Pronto más avances!!

The landing gear looks very good Luis, although as I mentioned earlier, the gear legs on the 'Razorback' were normally Olive Drab, but with quite large 'silver' coloured data plates, with black lettering, on their front faces.
The later 'Bubbletop' P-47's had the gear legs finished in clear lacquer mixed with aluminium powder, which gave them that greyish silver appearance.
I wouldn't worry about it though, as it's not something which is really noticeable - in fact, for over 50 years, I thought all P-47's had the 'silver' gear legs, until it was pointed out to me by one of our regular members here on the forum, when he built a Razorback. Even then, I had to look closely at photos before I could see the difference !
Your model is starting to look really good, and just shows what can be done with an old, but basically good kit, without having to spend a lot of money on more modern (and over-priced) kits, and spend even more or 'ready-made' detail parts.

Thanks for your comments Terry, although I'm sure I'll soon be buying photoetch accessories, but while I entertain trying to make my own pieces.

I've taken a bit with the photos, but now a preview of what I'm doing. Hartmann52 Thanks for your visits. :)

Some other details ...

In my Nakajima I detailed in photos developing the lights in wings (I do not know its name in English), so now I just show them the wear I did to the wing tip to create the new lights.

2015-01-20131007_zpsf3f76e57.jpg

... later I will show it once already finished ....

Now it is this detail on the right wing, which in other brands models include them, so I jumped at the chance, based on the following photos ...

... so my wing was ...

2015-01-20151233_zpsc5a71a2d.jpg

... so it was and I seized to make holes for machine guns and display the setting of hypodermic needles on both wings.

Well, my small and tricky cockpit is ready after a few washings with oils .... ready to enter the fuselage.

What I did on this occasion was to place the pit on their supports and close the two pieces of the fuselage securing them with rubber bands before applying the glue.
... then applied over the top few drops of Tamiya Extra Thin Cement while I adjust manner and centered in the correct position.

2015-01-21125140_zps14962807.jpg

When the glue is dry at the next day, I separate the fuselage and then add glue to bases and contours of the cabin and proceed to give the ultimate union of the fuselage.
