Now the seventh samurai agaim struck the TA. Hasegawa had thick sprue on the aft canopy and trying to cure this with wet and dry sanding and a polishing session it broke.

Eastern 08 was the time my club did his anular modelshow in the "Technik museum Speyer" in southern Germany.

I had promised to finish the TA for this event so an old revell canopy was used to disguise my failure.
The small inner landinggear doors are Aluminium metal which came with a cake. I used metal because there is a distinct bulb in this doors to clear the tires or brakes. I formed this bulbs using the inner of the "kidney" fairings of the old A-wings as a negative form.

 
Back in the repairshop:
I allready had robed the new tool Dora of its wings so I did not hesitate robing the canopy too. The remains of the new-tool Dora will be used up in another project I allready started since June 09.

After a year I dislike this cowlflaps more and more.
Well it's time for a pit-stop.

Fortunately I left the Cowl detachable and so I could make new flaps the easy way.







I hope you will agree they look better.

I leave for holidays now but in three weeks I'm back with a ME 209 V5.
