Those photos really fascinate me, Wayne.
His plane BII-101 reminds me of Captain Kiyokuma Okajima who later objected Kamikaze operation saying "A pilot is not one time bomb!"
Thanks for sharing.

I am glad it reminds you of this pilot.....as it IS the aircraft of Kiyokuma Okajima..!

Wow:shock:! Thanks Wayne for your detailed information about Okajima and his fighter!
My memory about him was not accurate for PH operation but rather intense about his first escort mission with his 30 Zeros for the first suicide attackers of 18 G4Ms with OHKAs led by Captain Nonaka in March, 1945, as the YouTube footage shows in below.
He survived the mission.

Thanks!

You are welcome my friend!

Okajima held a number of Command posts as division leader or group leader...on the carriers Hiryu, Zuikaku, Hiyo and Ryuho and then land based assignments...

Thanks Wayne for your nice lecture.

It utterly looks a miracle to me that there is such an awesome expert of the Japanese aircrafts like you in overseas.
Please take care of yourself and keep educating us day by day.

Thanks Guys...
