Weird meteorological object

Anyone has any idea of what this is? I'm mostly leaning towards the fact it's an aerobatical plane's exhaust...

Looks like a microburst.

Could be any number of things. You definitely have a few masses of unstable air in one piece of sky that can create some very unusual cloud formations. But then, it could be an alien, looking down at the earth and making a question mark as a way of saying "WTF, earthlings?"

Looks like a bent funnel cloud to me. I've not ever seen one bent at 180 degrees but any thing is possible. Cool shots by the way!

Its "CLEAN BLUE"!

The corkscrew characteristics makes it resemble a vortex.. like Aaron said the beginning of a funnel cloud.

Can you give some further information.....what part of the world was it taken, what month and what season. What were the weather conditions generally? Dry, hot, humid, thundery???? Hard to say without some further information.
