Weird meteorological object

Anyone has any idea of what this is? I'm mostly leaning towards the fact it's an aerobatical plane's exhaust...

Could be any number of things. You definitely have a few masses of unstable air in one piece of sky that can create some very unusual cloud formations. But then, it could be an alien, looking down at the earth and making a question mark as a way of saying "WTF, earthlings?" ;)
 
Two pictures and a big mark in the same place ?......thats dust on yer sensor mate !:lol:

Its "CLEAN BLUE"!

The corkscrew characteristics makes it resemble a vortex.. like Aaron said the beginning of a funnel cloud.

Hi Pisis,

Can you give some further information.....what part of the world was it taken, what month and what season. What were the weather conditions generally? Dry, hot, humid, thundery???? Hard to say without some further information.
