Great thread Charles.

I was gonna start something similar as soon as I scanned some pics. I've owned mostly 4x4 trucks and early 70s muscle cars and have some great pics.

Chris:

I've been thinking about this for some time. Occasionaly a member would
mention his vehicle, so I thought.. what to heck. Besides, I had just finished
cleaning up my truck.... good time, no ?

Don't understand you having so much trouble with salt air. I live eight miles
from the ocean. Maybe the salt air blows north or south ?

I dunno Charles, I'm only assuming. My car has more paint chips than Home Depot. As in the words of DI Ermey "Its a "F"ing modern art masterpiece" But it gets me where I'm going!

We got a 1996 escort station wagon that had 30,000 miles when we bought it from my wife's company for $1.00It was in almost new condition until a tree fell on it about a month later. A very big tree, it totaled out the cars on the boths of where we parked but we got the windshield replaced and beat the roof back into shape and replaced a door and the springs.
The car looks like it's been driving through a combat zone with dents all over it but we do park on the street in DC and I have been hit once with pretty good damage to the other car, and like Adler, I got out laughing....

My dad had a Triumph Spitfire back the 70s, don't know which model.

I drive a '99 1.6 Litre Peugeot 206 XS. A whole 90 BHP! 0 - 60 in 11 seconds! Top speed 110 MPH and 35 MPG so it does me just fine.

Here's a picture of a XSi (16 valve) for those that don't know the 206 - obviously not mine - and the XSi looks exactly like the XS. Mines burnt orange, I'll get a picture soon if anyone's really bothered.

Mine looks nicer, naturally... :| I'm going to upgrade one day to the 2.0 litre GTi model, 140 BHP. Why not, eh?

The bottom fell out of my dads.

Nothing special...my 2000 Holden Commodore No2 after my son got through with No1...

Now Wayne how did your son do that?

I once hit the sidewalk and bend the rim and broke the windshield with my hand when I was very pissed. The rim was when I hit a corner to fast and had a bit too much to drink, I learned my lesson with that one and with the windshield I had to replace anyway and got it done for a bargain to, but do not break your own sh*t when you are pissed at someone, break his stuff instead.
