Ah Terry, the one outside who's looking in. There is plenty more then battlestar and Atlantis.. we will infect you!

I'm doing the Revell 1/72 Horten 229 model. I got this bug recently about Luft 46/ X-planes, especially the German WW II X-planes. I also got Blazing Angels 2 Game ...X box 360 plus the pc verson. The Horten is not finished yet. A good model but I would probably prefer a 1/48 version instead. I am looking for a Revell 1/72 Arado 555. Steve

It's a good kit, much better than the old PM models version (...). The one I've been after though is the Dragon 1:72 kit -can't find it anywhere...
(Their 1:48 kit seems to be around though if you're interested STRD)

Re the sci-fi kits, my personal future 'dream fighter squadron' would be made up of Battlestar Galactica Colonial Vipers, Star Wars X-wings, Buck Rogers' spacecraft, and Thunderbirds 'Angel' fighters... Transport command would be served by Thunderbird 2, 2 Eagle transporters and a handful of Shuttle Tydiriums... and while I'm at it, I'll take the Death star for a weekend house... :) :) :)

Heres a side project I started the other day in hope to get it done for a gift for my father for Father's Day. I am pretty sure I will get it done.. Its a Roman Legionary by Miniart [1/16]. The armor is painted with Duraluminum Alclad and I hand painted the gold details with Testors enamel.. Much work to be done but it wont be that heavy since ive got a lot of experience with modeling now.

Much to be done.. will probably do the legs / sandals / shield tonight then the arms / face / helmet tomorrow. This is way easier then that hoplite I built back in March!

Finished the cockpit of my 1/72 Revell P47 t-bolt. Basically the 'twin' to the other one I finished!

Tried some rusting and such with my pastels..
