Thank you very much for your many kind comments Aaron, David, Wheels, Crimea River, Gnomey, Thor, Fherot (Let me say "Hello!") and Wayne!
I'm struggling to understand the control units structure :)

Thanks Aaron for your trust on me :D
It takes time but a lot of fun for me to understand the message from the past.
Thanks friends for your patience too! :)

I've always found Japanese aircraft to be beautiful and designed with great care (like most things Japanese). The book you found on this plane looks to also be done in great detail and a perfect source.

I am still struggling to gather drawings, technical dimensions etc on the Russian La-7 before I start on the 2D schematics first.

Eventually I need to relearn 3D again and following your progress helps me plan out my project a great deal.

Maybe I should have started with a simpler biplane...

Hello again and Welcome to this forum, Fherot!
I think 3D CGI is almost same as scratch build of scale model. If no perfect drawings, 80% of your working time will be occupied by researching work but that is enjoyable because you can build a set of new drawings! :)
Please let me look forward to your future work. Thanks!

Good question, Aaron and David :)
I only guess the Zero's brake and rudder required more foot power than a trainer :?:
