Hey guys, it's been awhile since I contributed anything to the forum. I think we can all safely say we've enjoyed a least a piece of music from TV, Film, Video Game, etc. I wonder what everybody's favorite soundtracks is. It can be from any source of media, case in point TV and movies. It doesn't have to be a whole album either, a few pieces are fine.

I guess I'll go first to set the criteria. I've enjoyed pieces from: Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Last of the Mohicans, The original Call of Duty.

I think that's a good start.

Wow...that's a tough one...so many choices!

Last of the Mohicans was a great choice, my favorite from that is the "Promitory"

But the sound track from Gladiator is good, so is the sound tracks to Spawn and The Crow and so is the sound track to Green Card

But who doesn't like the theme song to Hogan's Heros! (my all time fav) :thumbleft:

Tough one alright, as I'm a soundtrack collector. :D

Well...my faves are:

John Williams: Raiders March (Raiders of the Lost Ark)

John Williams: Scherzo for Motorcycle and Orchestra. (Indy III)

John Williams: Star Wars - Main Theme. (Star Wars)

Ron Goodwin: Battle of Britain Main Theme. (Battle of Britain)

Ron Goodwin: Luftwaffe March (Aces High). (Battle of Britain)

Alan Silvestri: Main Theme. (Back To The Future)

Stereophonics: Long Way Round (Long Way Round)

Mike Curb Congregation: Burning Bridges (Kelly's Heroes)

Henry Mancini: A Shot In The Dark. (A Shot In The Dark)

Bruce Willis Danny Aiello: Swingin' On A Star (Hudson Hawk)

Sting: It's Probably Me (Lethal Weapon)

George Benson: On Broadway. (All That Jazz)

Vangelis: One More Kiss, Dear (Blade Runner)

Rammstein: Feuer Frei. (xXx)

Angelo Badalamenti: Theme - Audrey's Dance - Love Theme - Falling (w. Julee Cruise). (Twin Peaks)

John Barry: The Buffalo Hunt. (Dances With Wolves)

Bernard Herrman: Citizen Kane - the entire cd.

Hans Zimmer Lisa Gerrard: The Battle. (Gladiator)

Neil Diamond: Be. (Jonathan Livingston Seagull)

John Williams: The Raptor Attack and Theme. (Jurassic Park)

Alexander Courage: Main Title. (Star Trek: The Next Generation)

Eric Serra Inva Mullah Tchako: Lucia De Lammermoor The Diva Dance. (The Fifth Eelement)

Michael Kamen: Requiem For A Soldier, Main Theme and Suite One. (Band of Brothers).

Vera Lynn: We'll Meet Again. (Dr. Strangelove)

"The Last of the Mohegans" - The best, hands down

And the "Apocalypse Now" soundtrack because it's actually the music AND the dialogue

Also parts of "The Fifth Element" soundtrack...

Entire "Gettysburg" soundtrack, especially the main theme, composed by Randy Edelman.

Then "North and South" main theme by Bill Conti.

John Williams: "Superman, The Movie" main theme.

Miklos Rozsa: "Ben Hur", Main theme

Miklos Rozsa: "King of Kings", Main theme

Also like some of the stuff from Maria's list, namely: Back to the Future III main theme, Star Wars (main titles Imperial March), Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Arc, etc.

I actually made a CD a few years ago called "Cinema Sounds" with some of my favorites which included.....

Theme from "Rockford Files"

Theme from "Shaft"

"KIll Bill Vol. I" (where Lucy Lui walks into her nightclub with her entourage)

Theme from "The Prisoner"

"Lay Me Down" from "We Were Soldiers"

.....among others.

Lately I want to add the score from "The Book of Eli". Very haunting.
