Some shots of the putty work, Used some gap filler along the way. This is the most time ive ever spent filling in seams / gaps, I dont think I will find it that difficult when I go back to making normal sized models!

LOL. 1/48 is normal for me. 1/72 is too small for me.;)

I like 1/72, and normal to me is 1/48 singe engine fighters and such... this kit is just a beast man, therefore I can't call it normal!

Glad to have you back on board Darryl! Really no progress for tonight, fingers hurt from sanding and I was out for a bit. Most likely will be putting on the stabilizers tomorrow then slaving more hours filling those in.. I believe I have become OCD with gaps / seams.

Dr. Wojtek, what is your prescription for this illness?

Stabilizers on and puttied, the final and last thing for puttying will be the rear gun cover thing. I will also be checking all the seams then to the paint shop!!

First coat of gloss black for the Chrome Alclad. It is a bit patchy but I wasn't going to soak it in gloss black and wait a week for the tar to dry! But remember, light reflecting off gloss sometimes makes it looks like there isnt paint in a certain place when there really is, I covered all of it..

Also this model is so big I have nothing as big to put a cover over it

A nice table that it is! I moved it to the shower seeing as it will have the least dust in the house.. Will probably spray another coat on tomorrow, gotta let this dry first though. I already see little hairs and crap on it, more sanding and removal, I want to start airbrushing in a air bubble!!
