Beautifull done!

I've noticed on a number of aircraft where the front of the engine cowling were bronze colored. Why was that?

I'm not sure but I think it was some sort of collector ring for the exhaust. I know a lot of the Italian planes had the same copper looking cowl fronts. I'm sure someone around here would know for sure.
 
Yes, it was an exhaust collector ring, same as on the Beaufighter. In my MTO Beau thread, you'll be able to see the individual exhaust pipes, running forward from each cylinder to the collector ring.
 
I think this will be my next kit project...compliments mate, accurate work...

Thanks for the kind words guys. Tonight I have some minor progress to share.

First off i got the landing gear installed along with the gun pod and propellers

Tonight I turned to the canopy. Along with my Mk 1 Blenheim I ordered masks for this kit (MkIV)

I have to say I'm pretty impressed. I have had this kit in storage for awhile because I really could not get excited about it. Seeing what you are doing I'm starting to get excited about it. Nicely done!
