Airfix 1/24 scale Bf109E.....or a bed of thorns

I thought the cowling was fine. The problem was with the fuselage or rather with the cross-section that was the engine mount.It is really odd because the starboard at the area fitted very good. Fortunately the layer of the plastic is quite thick at the place.So the solution could be only one - sanding.

A few engraved details has been lost when sanding the area. So I had to engrave them myself. Unfortunately I was tired and I used template of incorrect diameter for making the circle at the corner of the panel. Again Superglue appeared a very good putty for a such quick correction. Then the correct template was used.
