You are welcome MM
Korean drum dance performers also joined the event.
Both peoples can be friendly anytime when they talk about the ancient time.
Even Kim Jong Un would also agree with this point
Getting back to my neighborhood, this pagoda is small but a national important cultural property located in the Shomanin Temple.
A temple for women who wish safe childbirth.
In the second photo of this temple I think I see an iron collar with rivets on it.
So I was wondering if in all temples in Japan timbers are just dovetailed or this is only valid for particular temples.
Cheers
Thanks for your kind comment, Elmas
This kind of round shape pagoda is rare to see in my country.
Yes, these iron plates are carpenters' idea to connect and strengthen wooden parts to form the round shape.
Thanks Merv and Wayne for your kind comments too.
Our country and people will welcome you all anytime
In my case, if I might tell frankly, I have understood recently that I am not so young as to be a guide or guard for my guests any longer.
I used to receive dozens of guests from foreign countries a year as a young ambitious businessman but now I'm just a willful old man who likes walking alone with his old camera on a sunny day.
We are having long holidays now from April 29th to May 8th (basically 5th) which we call "Golden Week".
Please let me share several photos which I took today. It was a beautiful day.
Thanks !
Thanks Wojtek and Hugh !
Today was a fine day too but tomorrow seems rain.
I was lucky to see off a cruise ship in the port.
Sorry, this has nothing to do with the temple
