Ahoy Fellas
Thank you guys for your replies the old flying fortress is heading down to the down hill slide, After all of the paint work has dried I went ahead and painted the3 squadron Identification markings. The red area was masked first and airbrushed flat white when the flat white has dried to touch I applied the red color. Again letting this dry overnight then the ytouch up paint work and deicer boots will follow and the assembly and decals and she is good to go. But lastly the bomb bay doors will be constructed and cemented to fuselage bottom. a lot of work still needed hopefully next week the build will be finished.

Okay back to the build as to the update build report after letting the red dry over night I painted in the wing walks on some Flying fortress the wing walks were optional and they vary somewhat from aircraft to aircraft.......... using again masking tape to apply the airbrushing of the wing walks, It perhaps would have been faster if I purchased some striping tape.. I just went ahead and done it old school method mask and airbrush.................. I still have lots to do on the B-17 she is coming along I should have her done one day this week. After the decaling is done the painting of the tires and other painting along with touch ups here and there. Okay fellas here is the update for now I should have another this evening.
Looks like you might need to hit 3 spots with the decal solvent again though - the white of the starboard wing triangle, the starboard tailplane triangle, and the number '6' on same.
