Starting to run out of time here but I'm still working on it when I have time with the hope of finishing. The lower intake on the nose has been installed as well as the reinforcing strips on the tail. Also glued the canopy on which was a really nice fit. Next is masking the canopy then the painting starts.

Got a lot of painting done today
1) Canopy masked and painted RLM 66 interior color
2) Fuselage and bottom painted RLM 76. The deciding factor between RLM 65 and 76 was that my jar of 65 had dried up.
3 & 4) Nose, fuselage band and under wing tips painted RLM 04
5) Areas of RLM 02 painted
6) Some of the RLM 71 on. I still need to do the areas on the upper rear fuselage and upper nose
I'm starting to think that I might get it done!

The canopy was a wonderful fit. All I did was clean up the sprue attachment points and glue it on.
Tonight I sprayed on the 71 on the nose, canopy and upper rear fuselage completing the main painting

Made myself out a schedule of what I have to get done each day and hope to finish it up by this Sunday. Everything must be done by next Tuesday because I'll be going out of town Wednsday.
