Glenn looks absolutely wonderful and if I had to say one of your better finishes overall !It's something about how the paint has been laid with an all so subtle demarcation line(soft to scale) and the fine tuning of the panels lines ;well blended.:thumbright:

Glen, I am glad to see that you went with the RLM 02/71/65 scheme instead of the popular 74/75/76 belief. Those colors did not appear until later (in the F-4's and G's). The umbrella holders should have been cut off. Was there a "Harro" under the cockpit? It really doesn't show in any of the known photos of this particular bird. Did it use C-3 gas? I know, I am being picky but I am working on one myself and I would like to verify the facts. I too am a Highway and Bridge Construction Inspector. IDOT - D2 (Retired)

Hi Chuck, Welcome to the forum. I'm not really a Luftwaffe expert and depend a lot on the other members here when building one. It's amazing what a lot of these guys here know and are more than willing to share.
There is also a build thread for this model **** DONE: 1/48 Bf 109F-2 – Winter War / Eastern Front WWII where you can see how much help they were to me

Nice running into another inspector here. I haven't worked much out of District 1 other than a short stint up in Wisconsin. I've done a lot of IDOT and CDOT work along with METRA and a couple of other rail jobs and am currently on a Tollway project rebuilding 3 bridges.
