Okay, thanks lads for all the kind words. I haven't progressed as much as I'd liked to, but here is the new progress up to today.

After spraying the aircraft in Medium Sea Grey, the top surface was sprayed Ocean Grey. In this photo you can see the pre-shading showing through.

I scaled up the Aviaology profiles in the photocopier to the correct size and used 'cut outs' to use as templates for the camouflage pattern.

I used a commercial product called 'Ultramask' for the masking after transferring the pattern from the profiles. It's a clear film that has low tack. You can position it as many times as you like. Biggest problem on models is that it does not like going around curved surfaces very well. Still is got the job done.

Okay - on with the Dark Green. I'm using Model Master enamels for this Typhoon and they are flowing on very well.
