The judging and tallying of the votes for Group Build #8 Commonwealth/Night fighter has been completed... at last.

We have 2 categories for this Build, Intermediate and Experienced... No Category 1 - Beginner's level in this GB. There is also a Member's Choice Poll that let's you pick your favorite..

There were 10 Participants with 10 Models completed in the Intermediate and 3 Participants with 3 Models completed in the Expert category... Once again, a great job to all participants.... Here are the Winners:


INTERMEDIATE CATEGORY.

The 1st Place in the Intermediate Category is Ozhawk 40 with his 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Mk.1B 245 Sqn "Sharky".

The 2nd Place in the Intermediate Category goes to T Bolt with his 1/48 Curtiss P-40M Wairarapa Wildcat FO Geoffrey Fisken and to Wildcat with the 1/48 Spitfire MK.III F/L E "Ted" Sly 457 sqn RAAF

The 3rd Place in the Intermediate Category goes to Imalko with his 1/72 P-40N "Cleopatra III" of Lt.Col. G.C.Atherton, RAAF and to N4521U with his 1/48 Typhoon Mk.1B RCAF 143 16 Wing Comm 1944.


EXPERT CATEGORY.

The 1st Place in the Expert Category is CrimeaRiver with his 1/48 Heinkel He-219 WNr 290123 of 1/NJG 1

The 2nd Place in the Expert Category is CrimeaRiver with his 1/48 Spitfire Mk.IX AE-B Ian Keltie 402 SQDN RCAF.

The 3rd Place in the Expert Category is Vic Balshaw with his 1/48 Consolidated PBY-5 Catalina.

This Build has been really the tightest and closest competition we've had so far .... Realy more quality work.... The Judge team has had a real trouble with an assessment of your models and skills that have greatly increased since the previous GB project ....

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to Peter and Andy ... a smashing work guys...... :D
 
My congratulations to all, one again outstanding modelling which would have been hard to judge and my thanks to the judges, organisers everyone else for and excellent result.

And my humble thanks to you Andy.
 
Well done to all. As Wojtek stated, this was a very difficult GB to judge, with more than one session of consultation before the results were decided.
