Yea what happened. I never heard any results of the judging. By the way I had to go with Terry's spit. It was a hard decision between it, Andy's HE-219 and Vic's Cat but the weathering on Terry's Spit won me over.

Oh, I see now. I didn't notice the note about the poll being closed. In that case,

THANKS EVERYONE! Much appreciated! I'd like to tip my toupee to Vic though, who did a stunning job on the Catalina. Not sure how I beat that, frankly!

It's simple Andy, the details and finish of your model were simply breathtaking and though it was a close run contest your entry was worthy of the win. So congratulations my man, well deserved.

I would also like to convey my sincere thanks to all for taking an interest in this GB, the organisers for helping and keeping us all on track and a special thanks to those who went into bat for me.

Nice one Andy, and very well done Vic and all who entered. I can now tell you that it's been a very difficult job judging this GB, with a bit of a 'conflab' going on with the judges, and there might be some surprises!
Wayne is doing a great job pulling it all together with the scores, and, even allowing for the fact that we've lost some judges, the results should be posted soon.

Bill, you might have omitted the fact that your Typhoon Mk.IB of the RCAF got the third place for the intermediate category of the Commonwealth/Night fighter Group Build . So the GB icone with a propper shield has been added by me to your siggy. Congrats again. :)
