All in good time Igor. Lots on the go at the moment. Made some new kitchen drawers over the last two days and built a lifting frame for the canopy on the real Mossie I'm helping to restore.

Made a start on the cockpit. Made use of the Eduard P-47M detail PE set and finished the IP and parts of the port sidewall and cockpit floor. Once all the parts are on, I'll need to coat the floor and sides with a semi-matte coat to tone down the sheen on the painted PE.

Nice one Andy I love the color schedule on this jug I think P47,s have the most colorful art work of all of the fighter aircraft of the second world war........ I have a 1/33 scale card kit of this paint schedule of the Jug you are modeling very colorful to say the least Hardy well Done on the selection for the Nose Art GB.

Excellent representation of a P-47M panel Andy (almost identical to my D-30), even has the correct type rudder pedals. Very nice!

Thanks Glenn et al. Tamiya provided an extra sprue with M-specific parts, including tail fillets, magnetos (though I read that the ones they provided are wrong, more applicable to the -N), as well as the rudder pedals.

Squeezed a little time in today. Looked at my Mosquito GB18 Build, then this one and chose this one - more funner at this stage.
The cockpit tub, seat, belts, and sidewalls have all received their PE bits. The starboard wall got an oxygen hose made of guitar string (oddly, the new parts Tamiya provided for the M model left the hose off, whereas the D wall has it) and everything got a mild spray of Future to give the surfaces a semigloss finish and to reduce the gloss of the PE.
Realizing that the back of the instrument panel will be visible through the windscreen, I'll need to throw in a bit of wiring there in my next session.
