Well, here's how the lights turned out. I'm happy with the result of the navigation lights but the plastic of the landing light lenses is so thick that its hard to see the foil reflector behind it. At least it looks like there's something there, not just an empty space.
I also glued the wings on. The joint between the upper wing and fuselage was near perfect.

I've been doing a bit of painting doing the yellow prop tips and wing leading edges but did not take pictures. I've been switched to working nights again so maybe I can do a bit more tomorrow afternoon when I wake up, the white for the stripes and maybe the sky fuselage bands and prop spinner
 
Here's an up date on the painting I've done over the last several days.
1) Sprayed the yellow and Sky for the wing tips and tail band
2) Sprayed on the top side Ocean Gray
