Aw, well then to the pain pills we go! My back hurts from when my brother wrestled me then drilled his knee into my right shoulder blade (about a year ago), it pops all the time. I want to see a chiropractor.. dang parents!

Build on Dan -

Yesterday was a busy day, got a good bit done.....

Got main fuselage seams filled, landing gear bays detailed, doors painted and filled and gear assemblies glued together... Also finished up those goddamn flap hinges.... Got a good dry fit on the main parts as well, lookin good in that aspect.....

Also started getting the detailed scratch built open gunbay in order... Pics below are dry fit... Ive realized that there really is no need for seious detailed scratch building as most is unseen with the one door cover still closed.... Got some more work to do with it...

Also started the detail of the open door faces with plastic card to show the detail.... NOT EASY........

Thanks Paul, no surgery on the back if I can help it.... Ive known too many fellas that went that route and regretted it.... Came out of it worse off than they were...

Fu*k that....

I have a friend that has a simuar situation with the discs and nerves. Its gotten so bad she cant stand on one leg because nerve's to the leg are numb. Surgery is her only option now. She cant even tie her own shoes now. Be careful with your back man. You only got one!!!!

Thanks guys, lets keep on track here, the back always hurts and has for years, enough said...

I have been messin round with the wing joints and I have to say its horrendous... There is a center pin arrangement that doesnt go together, so Im workin on gettin some tabs installed to help with securing the wing ends.... Not a very sturdy arrangement....

Nice work, foldable wings.. *gulp* (Had to try that on revells 1/48 corsair, lets say I didnt finish the kit)

They are truly awful, I basically crammed as much plastic in strategic places as I could to get them to hold.

Excellent work Dan, really top rate! I love the detail in the gun bay, and the wiring/pipe work in the wheel bays, great stuff. Hope you can get that wing joint to behave.

This friend's condition describes the same symptoms a friend of mine had many years ago. He went with the surgery (no choice) and now his back is seized in the lumbar area. He gets around fine (by appearances) and is back to much of his old ways albeit it with some physical restrictions, naturally. We're both 54. He hurt his back initially during a sand lot tackle football game when we were 19 and then severely aggravated it in a water skiing spill 25 years later. That delivered the coupe de gras. I've had muscle strains but for the most part I've been careful and otherwise lucky.

Corsair is coming along nicely.
